In this life we are always faced with opportunities to grow. Growth has been modeled for us from conception to the delivery room, from newborns to adults, and from adults to seniors. If we are alive the opportunity to grow is presented, effortlessly. Physical growth seems to just happen, a little slower for some than others, but with each passing day, we are growing, becoming.

Growing as Christians, however, takes a little more effort. We are constantly presented with the opportunity to grow, but unlike aging, this type of growth requires our consent and yielding to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. This growth can be challenging, painful, and humiliating. The good news is that this growth makes us more like Christ with each experience, if we agree to the process.

Life In The Vine is an encouraging, spirited, empowering 52 Week Devotional authored by The DIVA ZoneTM as an Anthology Project. The women contributors are as real as can be. We all grapple with emotions. We have both our low points and our celebrations. We fail sometimes, yet we always get back up.
